Bird is the Word

Hey folks....
I have a job for sure! I will be teaching in a public school with the EPIK program. What I still don't know, however, is where or what age. In response to why all this is taking so long to figure out, my recruiter said: "That's what she said."
But really, folks, she said: "Please remember this is the government we're dealing with and things take longer." Ok dokie.

In the meantime, Joe and I are moving out of our house...packing, cleaning, procrastinating. We'll be leaving Chicago July 19! Cah-razy. We'll be road-tripping to Arizona...going through Badlands National Park, Yellowstone, Arches Nat'l Park, Grand Tetons, Zion, etc., and stopping at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for a few photos. Should be leaving the country mid-August. Anybody who wants to come visit us in Tucson before we go should totally do it!

That is all.

Besides rhyming, to what does "Bird is the Word" refer? Are you birds hoping to "fly" out of the country? Are you thinking of giving the South Korean government "the bird" if they don't make the wise decision to employ you? Are you planning to go hang gliding from the north rim of the Grand Canyon to snap a few photos, i.e. "fly like a bird"? Or, maybe you are thinking about borrowing your dad's Triumph and "fly" on some mountain roads around Tuscon? I am so confused or perhaps too literally legalistic.
